Organization

The Top-Level Courses Project is organized as a competition, where groups of teachers submit their courses to an evaluation process, and are evaluated on the quality of their courses according to a specific set of criteria, and following a set process. If their courses are successful, they are awarded the designation Top-Level Course, and receive some monetary support. With this designation, there are also certain expectations of making course material available, and keeping it up-to-date. There are several categories of courses, and three levels of designations (university-, provincial and national-level Top-Level Courses).
